Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital Announces Grand Opening Event

Preparations are well underway for the Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for Thursday, December 13th. Construction of the 110-bed hospital is complete and staff are putting on the finishing touches in preparation for facility tours prior to accepting patients into treatment.

Construction has been completed on the new state of the art Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital located in the Village of New Lenox, IL. Grand Opening proceedings are scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 13th, 2018 starting with a welcome ceremony and ribbon cutting at 12:00 PM. This event is not open to the public and attendance is by invite only.

Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is excited to welcome Jim McMahon, former Chicago Bears quarterback and Super Bowl Champion, as a special guest speaker. Jim will speak about his struggles and experiences with depression following a successful 15-year career in the NFL.

Self-guided tours and light refreshments will be served following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
